C.A.R.E. KENNEL

WE HAVE STARTED! The new kennel is under construction and C.A.R.E. is thrilled. This will give our rescued dogs a comfortable environment in winter and summer. WE will have a total of 20 runs that can hold 20 dogs or more if we can double them up. Each cubicle will be 10 feet by 10 feet so it is larger than your normal boarding kennel. The dogs will have room to share with another dog. This is good because dogs are pack animals and they love company. The runs are 20 feet long for a good walk instead of an area only large enough for a dog to turn around.

Administrative Rooms

WE will finally have an office to interview our applicants that are viewing the dogs for adoption. The office will be a warm and welcoming place with photos of our successful adoptions and paintings depicting the different animals we have helped.

A kitchen will allow us to prepare food for each rescue and meals for those recovering from illness or that need special diets.

The laundry and grooming room means we will never have to take dirty linens to another Laundry Mat. Everything can be washed on site which saves money and driving time. Our grooming tub will allow for those quick baths when we get animals covered in mud, ticks or have found the horses deposits.

Our Quarantine Room will be a safe place for the new puppies, kittens and other dogs and cats. We can observe them to be sure they are not ill and we can adjust them to a new healthy diet.

And then we will have the exercise yard for the large and small dogs to run and play.

The only delay is we do not have all the funds to finish the Administrative room that I have just described. We hope that some of our supporters will continue to support our efforts and help us complete our new kennel. All contributions to the building fund can be sent to C.A.R.E.,
