What You Need to Know:

  • All animals are quarantined upon arrival until examined by a veterinarian
  • Veterinary examinations include but are not limited to:
    • General health condition
    • Fecal test
    • Heartworm test (dogs)
    • Bordetella exam-kennel cough (dogs)
    • Feline leukemia test (cats)


  • All animals receive medical treatment as required and continued quarantine when appropriate
  • All animals receive all appropriate shots and vaccinations
  • All animals are spayed or neutered when healthy and able.
  • Socialization is initiated and maintained.
  • Socialization is combined with training.
  • All animals are micro-chipped for identification.
  • ‘C.A.R.E. CERTIFIED’ healthy, socialized animals are available for adoption.
  • Fair and reasonable animal return policy is in place.

Shots for Dogs and Puppies:

  • First DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus)
  • First Bordetella vaccination (Kennel cough)
  • Rabies vaccination
  • First worm

Shots for Cats and Kittens:

  • First FVRCP (Feline viral Rhinotracheitis, Calici, Panleukopenia)
  • First worm
